Frome Nursing Home and Catherine House Care Home, both part of the Evolve Care Group, partnered to bring the Halloween spirit to the Frome community. The residents, fondly referred to as family members, welcomed the local community into the grounds of their home in the name of festive cheer. Thanks to the amazing team, Frome community were able to enjoy free hot chocolate and pumpkin picking. There were smiles and laughter all round during this family event, warming up the chilly autumn afternoon.

Becky Press, Home Manager of Frome Nursing Home said “I couldn’t think of a better way to welcome the Halloween season. Our family members absolutely loved seeing the kid’s excitement over getting to pick their own pumpkin.”

“Relationships made in the community gives us a sense of belonging, it’s our connections and meaningful relationships with other people where we draw our strength.  We enable and encourage family members to continue to patriciate in the parts of the community that are important to them, both inside and outside the home.”
