Residents of Frome Nursing Home, affectionately known as family members, warmly invited friends and relatives to join them for a spectacular fireworks display within the grounds of the home. Despite having to reschedule from the original date of 3rd November 3rd due to Storm Ciaran, the event was safely rearranged for the following week, on 10th November.

Becky Press, Home Manager of Frome Nursing Home said “Wow, wow, and wow. It has been a very long time since I have seen that many people all together in the car park with smiles on their faces. A massive thank you to Sharon from our sister home, Catherine House Care Home, for organising it and equally lovely to see team members bringing along their families”.

Amanda, a Care Assistants at Frome Nursing Home said “OMG this has been the magical moment of the year for me, my granddaughter has had a wonderful time meeting my other family”

The event was spearheaded by Gordon Chamberlain from Pyronites and Fireworks and Catherine House’s events lead, Sharon Chard. Together, they planned and insured the safety of the event. The fireworks were purchased from the Bristol-based company, Monster Fireworks.
