Giving Tuesday encourages donations to worthy causes, and our Somerset Nursing Home, Frome Nursing Home has donated a TV to one of those that live there as part of this Giving Tuesday.
Doreen Wilkins has been living at our Somerset Nursing Home since 2011, and this year has been working hard to keep the gardens looking picturesque. Doreen has been a keen gardener for many years before she moved into Frome Nursing Home, and the team enables and supports her to continue this important aspect of her life.
Maggie Rhodes, Home Manager, said to us “Doreen has been a great help to us all at the home. The gardens now look even prettier than normal. Our pioneering model of care focuses on keeping everyone active with meaningful occupation that they enjoy doing, and this is certainly the case for Doreen. I can’t thank her enough for her hard work.”
Frome Nursing Home part of Evolve Care Group supports up to 60 individuals with various nursing and residential needs and is currently recruiting nurses and care workers to join its award winning team.
