Frome Nursing Home in Somerset came together once again to support the Fair Frome Food Bank. Recently, Wendy Miller-Williams from Fair Frome stopped by to pick up the latest round of donations from the homes. Wendy shared how tough this year has been with the cost-of-living crisis and said the donations are a big help to families in need.
Sarah and Jacqui, Administrators at the care home handed over the donations, which were made possible by the kind contributions of team members and relatives of residents, fondly referred to as family members. There was also another monetary donation from the home, as part of their shared commitment to helping local families in need.
Jacqui commented “It’s amazing to see how much everyone has come together to support this cause. This is our third collection this year, and we’ve already started planning another one for Easter. It’s a small way we can help, but it makes a real difference.”
Wendy thanked everyone on behalf of Fair Frome and highlighted how important these donations are to the community, especially during such challenging times.
